Q How do I visit a laboratory?
A Please contact the department office (TEL: 022-795-3863, Inquiry Form) or directly to the laboratory.
Q How many people are there in the laboratory?
A The maximum number of students is about 20. For details, please refer to the website of each laboratory or contact each laboratory.
Q Is there a limit to the number of students in a laboratory?
A No, we do not have a limit.
Q Will the results of the entrance examinations be posted on the website? Also, since it is a school recommendation, will the school be notified in any way?
A The results will only be sent to the applicant by mail. There will be no notification to your school.
Q Is it possible for non-Japanese to apply for the entrance examination by recommendation?
A If your graduation date is earlier than March (e.g., June at a typical Chinese university), you are not eligible for the recommended entrance examination. Those who have already graduated are not eligible.
Q I am a Japanese national with Japanese citizenship, but I have taken only foreign educational courses. Since I am Japanese, can I only take the General Selection Examination?
A If you have taken a foreign educational course, you can take the "Special Selection for Foreigners" even if you are a Japanese citizen. (Incidentally, the "Special Selection for Foreigners" is available twice a year (April admission and October admission), while the "General Selection" is available only once a year (exceptionally, there may be a second application).
Q When will I know if there will be a second round of recruitment?
A If there will be a second round of recruitment, the application guideline will be distributed around the end of October or November.
Q Do I need to take the TOEIC score for the entrance examination for working adults?
A No, it is not necessary.
