I come from a landlocked country in the heart of Southern Africa called Botswana (comparable to France in geographical size and an estimated population of 2 million people). Botswana is famous for being the world’s largest diamond producer by value and her intrinsic Safari wilderness adventures. Careerwise, I’ve worked with University of Botswana as a tutor (Teaching Assistant) from 2007- 2009 and went on to read for my M.Eng at Chongqing University (China). Upon returning to Botswana, I worked on clean technologies in my capacity as an engineer and lecturer with Botswana Innovation Hub and Limkokwing University respectfully. I did some work on optimizing sustainable ecological designs and efficient business practices as possible remedies to address the enormous environmental degradation ushered in by the corporate world (particularly industrial processes).
My current research interest is exploring green supply chain management (GrSCM) implementation strategies and how such strategies affect risk engineering and operations management. To further probe risk engineering and management, I study the capability Business Continuity Management has on competitive advantages. I also intends to explore how disaster incidents (on the rise) will affect patent designs and intellectual property rights. Further to that, I take great interest in models/ framework optimizations. My Ph.D study focused on Optimization of Business Continuity Management (BCM) in Natural Disaster- Prone Regions; a Case of the Automobile Parts Makers.
I like to relax by hitting the gym and reading (my friends joke that my home is a library).
