Financial Aid: Aid for financing graduate study is based on availability of funds and academic merit.
International Students: Roughly 1,000 graduate students in Tohoku University come from outside Japan. There are 200 graduate students which is 10 percent in the Graduate School of Engineering. The International Student Center provides visa information and offers a variety of social, cultural and educational programs.
